IVF treatment includes:
Pre-treatment – Initial consultation with a doctor and any additional testing
For example, an Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test measures a hormone produced by cells within the ovary. The levels are generally lower than average in older women and those with fewer eggs, and higher than average for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). AMH can give an indication of a woman’s egg reserve and also of the dose required to stimulate the ovaries.
IVF medication is tailored to the needs of the individual so it is difficult to provide a cost for this in advance, but the clinic will give you an indication.
This includes consultation, appointments, scans, egg collection and embryo transfer.
You can choose to pay the clinic directly on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis or to purchase a package of treatment from Access Fertility.
